Hello! My name is Marla Stephens and I am currently an undergraduate architecture student at the University of Florida. I am half Filipina, half White, and a native to Florida. Growing up near the coast of Florida, I am constantly motivated by the beauty and mysticism of our natural world and the power that it holds, especially pertaining to the sea. I believe that the artistry and perfection of nature's design is the most valuable source of inspiration we as designers have, and it should be continuously explored and learned from.
When I am not in the architecture studio you can find me skateboarding on the local nature trails in Gainesville, writing songs on the electric guitar, or sketching outside at one of my many favorite coffee shops in the city.
